Dear Beverly

Just stopped in to say hello.

          You remembered me.

Always.

Overcast; June gloom in March.
Front headed this way.
Maybe rain … maybe not.

Still, better than winter.
It’s all relative, isn’t it?

Life is like that.

The bad becomes not so bad
when the bad gets worse.

Is that what happened last June?
The bad that was tolerable
got so bad that …
well, enough about that.

Have a tune for you today … enjoy.

Looking back on the memory of
the dance we shared 'neath the stars above;
For a moment all the world was right.
How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye?

And now, I'm glad I didn't know
the way it all would end, the way it all would go.
Our lives are better left to chance;
I could have missed the pain,
but I'd have had to miss the dance.

Holding you I held everything.
For a moment wasn't I the king
If I'd only known how the king would fall,
Hey, who's to say - you know I might have changed it all.

And now, I'm glad I didn't know
the way it all would end, the way it all would go.
Our lives are better left to chance;
I could have missed the pain,
but I'd have had to miss the dance.

Yes my life is better left to chance
I could have missed the pain but I'd have had to miss the dance

Love and Honor.

When a human being,
makes no difference if man or woman,
stands naked before the world
that is all that remains.

Love and Honor.

Take away the trappings of
wealth, power and prestige,
the "things" that mark their lives
and what then remains?

If not Love and Honor,
then what?

If these two things,
Love and Honor,

are not within them,
then what are all of the
other things worth?

"How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye" ... so true.
The voice on the phone, "just wanted to hear your voice one more time."
I didn't know it was "goodbye."

"I could have missed that pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance"

Have a tune for you today ... enjoy.

Holding you I held everything
For a moment wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey, who's to say you know I might have chanced it all

And now I'm glad I didn't know

Yes, my life is better left to chance

Struggles with demons, how does that work?
Are there exits through kindness, caring and understanding?
Are these acts of love and friendship a waste of time?

I would like to think that the positive can help.
Negative reinforcement makes it worse?
Does that how it works?

Like you would say "oh wells" ... the demons still come.

Have a tune for you today ... enjoy.
